A Wellington Institution, The David Feehan Band have been around for over 25 Years, are full of wonderful musicians and can literally play and sing just about anything (except Waggon Wheel)
David Feehan is one of New Zealand’s finest male singers, starting as a session singer on many of the top NZ hits of the 60s and 70s, and then performing all over Aotearoa on TV and live concerts plus all around the world (incl Ronnie Scott’s and the 100 Club in London, Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, New York, China, Australia, Singapore, Carmillo’s in LA, a Canadian and Polish Tour, and with Buena Vista Social Club in Havana, Cuba.) and over 20 years lead singer with Rodger Fox Big Band.
For Cuba Dupa, the band has been asked to perform two sets of music from the Tamla Motown library; from Stevie Wonder, the Temptations and Four Tops, to the Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas and Mary Wells.
With Top Singers Jamie Musuva, Emma Davey and Fiona Wilson joining David on stage will be:- Sean Feehan, vocals and percussion, Jacob Randall, drums, Paul Mouncey, Bass, Andy Mauafua, guitar, Phil Hornblow, keys, Andre Paris, saxes and flute, Chris Selley, trumpet and EWI and Chris Fox, trombone.
