United Samba Schools of NZ, team up with the Wellington Community Choir to perform a range of songs from different parts of Brazil, featuring amazing Brazilian songstress: Alda Rezende.

More than 250 performers will conglomerate at the Wellington Airport Swan Stage, to deliver a range of styles; from Marcha-rancho to Afoxe and Afro Samba. Darryn Sigley, Julian Raphael and Alda, have carefully selected songs to create a unique Carnival atmosphere reminiscent of Rio, Belo Horizonte or Salvador da Bahia. CubaDupa Carnival! Vamos lá!
