Sabor Moreno

Sabor Moreno is a dance group with the Afro-Altiplanic flavour, who perform the elegant and spectacular 'Morenada' dance. Performing Morenada for the first time at Newtown Festival 2024, they showed the energy, infectious rhythm and vibrant colours of this dance. Their moves and powerful music will teleport you all the way to Titicaca Lake.

Lisseth, Marita and Yudy are Peruvians who love their traditional dances. Marita has Aymara roots while Lisseth and Yudy have Quechua roots from Cusco. They have been in the dance scene through the years performing also with other dance groups. In New Zealand, some of these dance groups go back to the legendary Cuba Street Carnival.
