Custom Design by Wellington artist, Stephen Templer.
Stephen Templer is a well renowned artist, performer and prop designer who epitomises the Cuba St and CubaDupa spirit. Nestled in the creative hub of downtown Wellington, you can find Templer working away in an old printery, signposted as the Honey Badgers Creative Studio.
Templer has worked on prop design for King Kong and the Hobbit, Illustrated children’s books including “Wreck of the Diddley” and has recently won Best Music Video in NZ, with “don’t sit under the poo tree” by Fleabite.
Stephen Templer has also been collaborating with artists Duncan Sarkies (writer), Lawrence of Arabia AKA James Milne (musician) and Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) on the now global podcast series, The Mysterious secrets of Uncle Bertie’s Botanarium.
