Dan Rainey (Everybody) likes to stay busy. He’s the co-founder of label and party collective Tempo Schmempo, one quarter of festival favourites Rare Specimens, half of live electronic duo Mono Era, and bassist for indie band Fiona & The Glow. As Everybody, he’s a DJ and producer in his own right. Since returning to Aotearoa from London in 2021, Dan has quickly re-established himself, performing at festivals including Rhythm & Alps, Relish Festival, Snow Machine, This Kinda Day and Taniwha’s Den, while consistently selling out venues nationwide through Tempo Schmempo’s raucous club nights. Now based in Wellington, Everybody delivers dynamic sets spanning dusty disco, raw funk, psychedelia, and cutting-edge house and techno — always in search of the perfect mix.
