In their seventh year of playing, the Hoot'n'Annies are a collective of non-professional musicians passionate about performing and encouraging more women in music - especially brass! We all have "day-jobs" that include public servants, teachers, librarians, software engineers and NGO support, and like to take on challenges in our musical journey whilst supporting each other through life. We range in age from "young" to "Hoot'n'Granny" (of which we have 2), but we are all young at heart, especially when the music starts.
