Midge Murray (Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Awa) has been immersed in music since her RadioActive days in 1987 and was a key presence in Wellington’s mid-1990s dance-club scene. A lover of all forms of music, her eclectic range means you never quite know what she’s going to drop in her sets — reggae, dub, soul, funk, house, techno, drum & bass, jungle. She has played with crews including Roots Foundation Sound System, Babes in the Hood, Funky Monks, as well as Vibe and Open Air Carlucciland.
