She Jays
Starting at the Matterhorn in 2005, the Shejays have been playing records to make joyful dancing possible for lots of Wellington events with a revolving cast of vinyl lovers. From Cuba Carnival, Newtown Festival, Weta parties, clubs, bars and for friends and fam. She Jays play monthly on RadioActive’s Soul Affair 7-9 pm Sundays.
For CubaDupa 2026 at Cuba Tavern there will be two shejays and two boxes of records - crossing many genres of music to dance the night away to.
