Shuriken is an intense beatdown hardcore experience hailing from the 04: Te-Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, in Aotearoa New Zealand. Merging speedy punk grooves with neck-shattering breakdowns and rap-inspired vocal flows, tender moshpits and smiling breathless audiences are an inevitable result. Since forming in 2025, Shuriken have released their debut EP ‘6021’, supported international hardcore legends Horsepower, headlined Ōtautahi Hardcore Festival in Christchurch, and toured their own brand of sonic violence all around Aotearoa New Zealand. With a second EP in the chamber, and an international tour in the works, Shuriken are set to slaughter in 2026.
