Aria Hinewai Te Hei Parker and Roger Walker join creative forces to bring the exhibition 'The Art of Joy and Light' to Thistle Hall. Aria Hinewai and Roger combine both their artistic design disciplines and interpretations of their past and present life experiences into their latest works. Aria's background was a designer in architecture and has worked with Roger Walker Architect in his architectural practice. Both have now come together in a new context, ART showcasing their work in both the medium of paint and sculpture. The integration of both Aria's contemporary Māori art and design and Roger's abstract and cubism art, give for a visual feast of Joy and Light.
