Austin is an award-winning theatre maker based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. He specializes in interactive and immersive productions and tours frequently around Australasia. Having created the dad-based show "I'm Proud of You" in 2025, he looks forward to sharing a bigger, bolder version at CubaDupa 2026 with The Dad Brigade. A full-time theatremaker based in Wellington, Austin has had work commissioned at Auckland Pride, been a headline teacher at the NZ Improv Festival and toured work to the Adelaide Fringe, the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Festival. He takes pride in making work with the audience at its heart and believes in the power of art to bring communities closer together.
