Kia ora CubaDupa community! Are you thinking of a master plan this year for CubaDupa? Have you been inspired by some creative spaces in the Cuba Street precinct and thought, I want to do that next year? Well, now’s your chance.
We’re opening up Expressions of Interest for venues, collectives, curators and neighbourhood champions to pitch their own stage or creative zone as part of CubaDupa 2027.
We know some of the most exciting ideas come from the people who live and breathe this neighbourhood. Whether you’re dreaming up a one-day block party, a niche music stage, a visual art takeover, an experimental activation, or a kaupapa Māori or Pasifika-led space — we want to hear from you.
If you’re keen to shape a space, curate a programme, and bring your vision to the streets of Pōneke, fill out this EOI and let’s talk! EOIs are open from 23 July and close 31 August. Once you submit, we’ll be in touch within 2 weeks to set up a time to chat through options and how the event works.
